About Alexis
Alexis Cooley (she/her) is an ecologist and artist working in the Pacific Northwest. Her work explores the connection between global climate change, individual engagement and the global climate change, public engagement, and education.
She holds a M.S. in Geography from Portland State University and a B.A. in English Literature from Barnard College.
Her scientific writing is featured in Climate and Journal of Water and Climate Change. She is also a poet, participating in spoken word events in her hometown of Eugene, OR.
Day to day Alexis works in policy and community education related to preventing pollution of the environment. She has 15 years of experience in project management and conservation.
